![]() ![]() The Kingdom of the Dead despite its name does not seem to possess any direct connection with the Horseman Death himself.Skeletons hanging in crow cages, while appearing decorative, can actually be shot with Redemption for loot and experience.The lantern-holding statues in this realm are based on the Vigil Games logo.The current Lord of Bones took the position after he and The Chancellor ousted the previous ruler, Argul who was described as "too mad to be kept upon the throne". Previously, The Judicator, The Phariseer and Basileus all served as well. The Kingdom of the Dead is ruled and administered by the Lord of Bones, his devious Chancellor from The Eternal Throne, a flying ship pulled by two enormous undead Leviathans. Many souls go mad or otherwise escape on their way to the City of the Dead, and end up haunting the various mausoleums and structures scattered across and under the Plains, these become the Undead. An exception to this appears to be Makers who are too ancient to pass through the Well of Souls and instead put their souls into Constructs or the stone of their world - the Forge Lands.īeing devoid of any living thing, the Kingdom of the Dead is a barren desert referred to as the Dead Plains. Rewards Īfter returning the ingredients Muria will give Death the Grim Talisman, an item that will build reaper energy with every successful attack.Upon death, most inhabitants of other worlds (including animals such as Stalkers and Prowlers) are drawn to the Kingdom of the Dead, so that they can be judged for their crimes and purified in The City of the Dead, before being sent on to the Well of Souls and on to their new lives or into the Abyss. If the Foundry has been completed Karn will remain in the Maker's Forge. Note that the locations for Karn assume that this side quest is being done in tandem with the main questline. Return to Tri-Stone and speak with Muria. ![]() After winning the duel, you can receive a commission to kill Bheithir along with three other monsters. The first one is to defeat Thane during The Maker Warrior side quest. Harvest Carven Stone from a Construct Sentinel. After completing Tears of the Mountain and receiving the Maker's Key, Karn can be located just outside the Lost Temple.Return to Karn and ask him about Carven Stone.Stingers can be found in Shadow Gorge, near the entrance to the Shattered Forge, as well as in the Drenchfort.Harvest some Mordant Dew from a Stinger.After completing Fire of the Mountain, Karn can be found in Stonefather's Vale, at the western gate leading to Shadow Gorge.Return to Karn and ask about Mordant Dew.A Stalker can be located inside the Cauldron fighting corrupted constructs in a large round room containing a chest with a key inside.Harvest some Stalker's Bone from a Stalker.Karn can initially be found fighting corrupted constructs just outside The Cauldron.It will require Death to collect Stalker's Bone, Mordant Dew, and Carven Stone that Muria will then use to create the Grim Talisman. It is given by the Maker Shaman Muria, and can be obtained through dialogue by Death at their first meeting. Shaman's Craft is a side quest appearing in Darksiders II. ![]()
